E81/E82/E87/E88Second-gen 1-Series. F20 5-door, F21 3-door. FEM (early) or BDC (later) immobiliser. Typically 75-90 minutes spare, 100-150 AKL.
F20/F21Current 1-Series (front-wheel-drive platform). BDC2 immobiliser with some UWB smart-key variants. Most complex 1-Series key job. Typically 90-120 minutes spare, 120-180 AKL.
F40High-performance F20 variants use the same key architecture as standard 1-Series. M-stitch fobs available; standard fobs work identically.
M135i and M140i variantsStandard on many F20/F40 cars. Full Comfort Access programming including keyless entry and keyless start.
Comfort Access on F20/F40Limited-run E82 M variant — same CAS3 key procedure as standard E82. We cover this and any other low-production E-series variant.
1-Series M CoupéEvery BMW 1-Series job starts the same way — confirm the platform, read the immobiliser, then programme. We follow the manufacturer-spec procedure every time, and you see the new key working before we leave.
