First step: confirm exactly which JLR platform your car uses — L405, L494, L460, L538, L551, L663, X760, X260 etc. This decides whether we work via OBD or whether the KVM/RFA module needs accessing. Different platforms = different procedures.
We read the existing KVM/RFA data first — this preserves your vehicle's security profile and lets us programme a new key that matches your specific car. For all-keys-lost, we extract the necessary credentials from the KVM directly.
New smart fob is programmed, paired to the KVM, and tested. You watch the car unlock with the new key, start with the new key, and (for keyless cars) confirm passive entry works. Old lost keys are disabled at the same time for security.
