Getting to Crawley is straightforward — the M23 at junctions 10–11, then to your door anywhere in RH10 and RH11. The job itself is even more routine: on the 2007-on 500 the display fails long before the cluster does, so we changed our answer from 'replace the unit' to 'replace the glass'.
We don't exchange units and we never post anything. Your cluster stays with your car: we open it, remove the dead glass, fit the replacement screen and rebuild it on the spot. Because the board — and the odometer memory on it — never changes, the car treats the cluster as what it is: the same one it left the factory with.
